School Library Night

The Mikes Kelemen High School Library enjoys the Hungarian Teacher Librarian Association's initiative to celebrate the International School Library Month on the night of 24th of October. .
Our ''ingredient'' to this celebration was the dominoes made of books.
We established national records by using 712 books in the dominoe.
It was very hard, but the joy and the enthusiasm helps us to win.
We created a short videoclip which reflects the atmosphere of the event:

Thank you to the VI. B + X. B graders and their teacher, Pethő Ibolya for the cooperation!

Reading Marathon

It become a tradition that our library organize the Reading Marathon during the International School Library Month.
Our 0-4 grader students listened the tales written by Kányádi Sándor, our most important Szekler poet.  Students from the 11th grade offered to read voluntarily to their younger friends.
There were more than 400 students at this event.
Each of them received a sticker with ,,I Love the Mikes Library”.
Thank you to Mrs. Török Katalin, our Literature  teacher, for the cooperation!
Many thanks to our students,  Incze Kata, Görgényi Réka, Nagy Hanna, Csákány Edina, Csortán Franciska, Pál Noémi, Korodi Henrietta, Ferentz Anna-Kata for the reading!
Thank you to SC ProductieMultinr SRL for the sponsorship!
