Exhibition opening

 The bookmarks sent by the readers of the Osnovna Skola XIV Divizije school library / Slovenia arrived in Romania. 

Those students, who participated to the bookmark exchange, were there too at the official exhibition opening.

This year ISLM theme is “Fairy Tales and Folk Tales around the World.”

We are ready and wait very excited to arrive the bookmarks from Slovenia.

Hungarian National Folk Tale Day

 

The Mikes Kelemen High School Library celebrated too, 30 of September, the birthday of Benedek Elek, the famous Hungarian folk tale writer.

This time we made it longer, because Benedek Elek is our fellow countryman. 

It was about the Hungarian National Folk Tale Day, so our librarian told the folk tales using elements of Benedek Elek's tales and the Hungarian folk tales with the help of participants.

Mikes Cycling Pilgrimage to Zagon

 

 We succeeded to organize the Mikes Kelemen Pilgrimage to Zagon this time too. Due to the Covid19 situation, our students were not allowed to come with us on our schools traditional celebration.  

Small but newer the less very enthusiastic teacher+librarian squad did the 62km tour. 

Nothing stopped us .  

The weather was fine, but we expected anytime to receive a good rain. 

The people of Zagon were expected us. It was a great privilege that the Zagon representatives, Mr. Kiss Augustin (the mayor), Mr. Macovei Florin Constantin (the vicemayor), and Mr. Márton János (the cultural manager)were waiting for us. It was very heartwarming and touchy. 

We enwreathed together the monument.                 

And after the celebrations the hosts were treated us regale. 

Then we visited the  great writer's Oaks. .  

Then we visited the local Mikes Kelemen Secondary School. 

 It was so hard to say goodbye to Zágontól. Thank you for all! We'll be back next year! .

Jövőre is itt leszünk!  

Know Your Library!

 Many school library projects were postponed or modified by  Covid19.  

Therefore our 1st graders were able to meet very late their school library. Hopefully they can lend books in the next semester, but this was not an obstacle to know better their library and library services.
