Simply the Best!
Before the summer break, our school library awarded it's best readers.
From the I-IV. graders Incze Melinda (IV. A) is the best, from V-VIII. graders Bölöni Gabriella and Székely Erika (VI. C), and from IX-XII. graders Gecse Eszter (X. B) read most..
It became a custom that the awards are not books, but pizzas.
The pizzas were handed to the students by our school principal and the librarian served them in the most beautiful room of the school library.

School in Other Way
At the end of April there is a week when schools in Romania organize the national School in Other Way Week.
Our library took part on our schools activity.
1.Together with the German Language teachers, we organized the German Reading Marathon.
2. With Rusznák Gabriella és Popescu Carmen, our Romanian language an literature teachers, we organized the the ''Map of Writers" contest.
The aim was to practice the Romanian language with new methods.
Our students read novels in Romanian from the universal literature.
During the contest they had to present the novelist, his work. The students made bookmarks and book covers based on the novel. They also had to explain, why they liked the novel.
3. The first graders met for the first time their school library. There was lot of fun and play.
4.Students from upper graders were watching movies.
5. The 8th graders from Gödri Ferenc Scool were visited our library. They wanted to know more about us, because some of them will be our students if they will pass the exams after the end of this school year.
Thank you for the German-, Romanian Language teachers and school masters for the collaboration!

ROMANIA IN THE TWO WORLD WARS
We had common history classes with our American friends.
They are from Elmwood Middle School/Rogers/ Arkansas and Heritage High School/Rogers/Arkansas.
We were discussing about the two World Wars, and how was involwed Romania in these wars.
It was also very important for us to know each other, and to know the other's culture better.
Thank you to Goga Enikő and Koós Kinga, our Mikes teachers, for cooperation.
